Langbein & Engelbracht GmbH successfully VDA 6.4 certified !

On 3 November 2008 Langbein & Engelbracht was certified in accordance with VDA 6.4, a German quality standard designed for machine and tool manufacturers that supply production equipment within the automotive industry.
This is a further step for the documentation of our quality.

Further the audit according to DIN ISO 9001 was also successfully executed.

With new appearance and company logo L&E presents the new positioning of it's products.
Focal points are products and solutions for environmental protection which primarily serve for energy saving and exhaust air quality control.
Our visitors are going to be informed in particular about the gainful waste disposal of rejects and sludges from paper manufacture.

A Look Back At 2007

L&E increased its sales receipts by 31 % to 37.9 mill. euros in the 2007 financial year just ended.

Likewise, the intake of new orders rose by 15 % to 37.4 mill. euros, so we can begin 2008 with a high order volume.

Reject Drying Units

L&E has successfully put a further reject drying unit into operation. Our customer is thus now in a position to save € 600,000 a year in disposal and transport costs.The facility is dimensioned for a capacity of 5 tons an hour and reduces weight by about 2 tons an hour by drying.

L&E in the final quarter received further orders for the delivery of sludge and reject drying units.
