AIR-TURN-DRYER
The L&E Air-Turn-Dryer is optimally applicable for air- turning and drying of single or two-side coated webs. It is typically located downstream a size press or a blade coater.
The L&E Air-Turn-Dryer achieves contact less turning of the coated web during drying by maintaining an air cushion in-between the web and the air turn nozzles.
L&E Air Turns and L&E Air-Turn-Dryers are equipped with an automatic distance control to monitor the distance between web and air nozzles.
The air-heating and circulating aggregates are positioned externally.
Air-Turn-Dryers can be used in a one-piece or multiple section version, adapted shut down systems are optionally avalable
