AIR-TURN

The L&E Air-Turn is optimally applicable for air- turning and drying of single or two-side coated webs. It is typically located downstream a size press or a blade coater.
The L&E Air-Turn-Dryer achieves contact less turning of the coated web during drying by maintaining an air cushion in-between the web and the air turn nozzles.
L&E Air Turns and L&E Air-Turn-Dryers are equipped with an automatic distance control to monitor the distance between web and air nozzles.
The process air supply is handled by external ventilation systems. To avoid condensation at the nozzles, the process air may be preheated.
