For this type for machines with one cylinder only a cascade concept is not possible.
Additionally, a steam and condensate system has to be designed to allow a high volume of flash steam to heat the drying cylinder.
The optimal technical design for one cylinder machines is a thermo compressor which allows additionally minimizing energy consumption.
The remove of inert gases is achieved by separating a part of the flash steam, which is condensed in a vent condensor. The available heat is used for preheating the blowing air.
