PROCESS DESCRIPTION
Thermal oxidation takes place in the central burner chamber, under which several heat recovery chambers are arranged. These chambers are switched, with time lags, via an control system from heat emission to heat storage and back to heat emission. In this way, energy from the purified exhaust air, which exists from the central oxidation chamber, is stored in the heat exchanger elements. This energy is uses to warm up the cold, unpurified incoming exhaust air almost to oxidation temperature.
